Step 1: Prepare the needed supplies

• Heat Press
• Sublimation paper
• Heat Resistant Gloves
• Lint Roller
• Heat Resistant Tape
• Heat resistant mat
• Blank ornaments with sublimation coating
• Artesprix Protective Paper

If you’re sublimating on ceramic or glass ornaments, you’ll need some additions:

• Nomex Pad
• Rubber sheet

Step 2: Have the design printed on a sublimation paper using a sublimation printer and sublimation ink.

Step 3: Remove the plastic wrap on the ornament, be careful not to leave fingerprints or smudges.

Step 4: Place the blank ornament on the sublimation print. Then tape them together with heat resistant tape. Trim away the excess if needed.

Step 5: Add parchment paper on top and bottom of the sublimation print and ornament.

Step 6: Heat press for about 75 seconds at 400F. For exact information, please check the manual book that comes with your heat press.

Step 7: Once completed, place it on the heat resistant mat. Finally carefully remove the parchment and sublimation paper from the ornament.
